Summer Highlights

A moment worth celebrating again - BandWith had an unforgettable time at this year’s Chicago Blues Festival! During our set, a WBBM Radio reporter walked into the tent and described his experience in this incredible 1 min radio story featuring our very own Harmoni Smith, “on her way to legendary status.”

Our 4th Annual Performance Tour brought us to Detroit, where we had the opportunity to perform on Belle Isle, at a Detroit Tiger’s clinic, Hart Plaza, and even at Motown! Detroit welcomed us warmly and we definitely felt the love.

As always our summer program was jammed-packed with music and performances, including a White Sox centerfield performance, our annual Peace Walk & Summer Community Concert, and the Bud Billiken Parade!

Looking Ahead

We are excited to share that construction on BandWith’s Performing Arts Center will soon be complete—a milestone years in the making. The final touches are now underway, including a remarkable mural designed by the young artists of Green Star Movement (pictured below). Ribbon-cutting details will be announced soon, and we look forward to welcoming you through our doors into this new chapter of BandWith’s story.
