Dear BandWith Community,
Reflecting on another milestone year, we are proud to share some highlights with you below.
With Gratitude,
Team BandWith

In partnership with Marillac St. Vincent, we launched our Early Childhood initiative, extending our free music programs to kids as young as preK.

We continued growing our Workforce Development program, providing employment, mentorship and professional development to our Youth Instructors and Teaching Artists.

We traveled to Memphis and Nashville, performing at the National Civil Rights Museum, Stax Records, the Overton Bandshell and CMA Fest!

We performed on Lollapalooza’s Pop-Up Stage!

30 heroic runners ran 26 miles and raised $50,000 on behalf of BandWith in this year’s Chicago Marathon.

We crushed the 10th Annual Arts in the Dark Parade!

We got some affirming and helpful press. Click on the image to watch one of our favorite segments.

We hosted joyful concerts and gatherings, including our annual Funky Brunch 5K at Theater on the Lake, and our Holiday Hoopla at Thalia Hall.

After 5 years of planning and pushing, thanks to our community's collective effort and astonishing generosity, we finally broke ground on our Community Performing Arts Center. Click on image to hear Harmoni singing “His Eye Is On the Sparrow” at the Groundbreaking.

The transformation of a Chicago casket factory - 100 years old this year! - into our community performing arts center is underway, and we’re on schedule to open our doors at the end of this year. Stay tuned for details on an opening bash (BandWith excels at celebrating)!
We want to extend a huge thank you to all who have carried us through another successful year. Here’s to more music in 2025!
