WestDance gives students a place to express themselves through movement. From Lollapalooza to Arts in the Dark, this year-round dance program nurtures creativity and confidence.
🎓 Prepares young people for practical application in the performing arts.

🎵 Hands on music & arts instruction from experienced teaching artists
👥 Builds confidence and teamwork skills.
Open to students interested in learning woodwind, brass, percussion, and string instruments. No prior experience needed—just a passion for music! Currently serving 38 students and welcoming more!
Our rehearsals and classes are designed to fit into students’ academic schedules while providing consistent, high-quality training.

First Fridays is a dynamic monthly event that brings the community together to celebrate culture, wellness, and creativity. Each gathering features a different genre of music, free dance classes, live music provided by local Chicago artists, and a high-energy block party experience. It's more than an event; it's a rhythm-forward community renaissance.
May Guest: Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Dill Costa is a captivating performer whose career began in the vibrant samba schools of Brazil. With deep roots in Afro-Brazilian traditions, she blends elegance, passion, and rhythmic mastery into every performance.

Once a month on the third Saturday, the Music Library becomes a gathering space for music lovers, storytellers, and curious listeners.
For May, join Luciano Antonio, Brazilian guitarist, singer, composer, educator & percussionist for an informative session exploring Brazilian Folk & Bossa Nova (Brazilian Jazz).
This cozy, interactive experience invites participants to listen, reflect, and explore how line dancing has created community, preserved culture, and sparked joy across generations. So come ready to relax, learn, and experience how music and movement continue to bring us together.

Celebrating 100 years of Miles Davis, this concert showcases some of the brilliant work from the vast, expansive catalogue of the greatest composer in the history of our country. An icon in not just jazz, but in fashion, pop culture, art, and multiple genres of music, this string quartet concert, unlike any other, celebrates Miles Davis’ legacy.
D-Composed is a Chicago-based Black chamber music collective that celebrates Black culture and creativity through the music of Black composers.
