june's First Friday:
dance & house music
Time: 6:00-8:30pm
BandWith: 148 S. California Avenue
Once a month on the first Friday, we bring the community together to celebrate culture, wellness, and creativity. Each gathering features a different genre of music, free dance classes, & live music provided by local Chicago artists.
June Guests: Sir Mel Hammond has cultivated a unique brand of “Electro-Funk” that defines his rhythmic harmony, deep, sultry vocals & sophisticated “tech house” tracks. His mission remains centered on delivering "Deep House for Deep People."
Andre McCaskey is a Chicago native & dancer creatively rooted in Chicago house music culture, with a passion for movement & self-expression. Through dance, we bring the energy that unites people.
