The All-Star Band is for advanced students and graduates of our programs. It offers a space for top talent to rehearse, collaborate, and perform year-round.

👥 Builds confidence and teamwork skills.
Open to students interested in learning woodwind, brass, percussion, and string instruments. No prior experience needed—just a passion for music! Currently serving 38 students and welcoming more!
Our rehearsals and classes are designed to fit into students’ academic schedules while providing consistent, high-quality training.

FIRST FRIDAYS DANCE & LIVE MUSIC SERIES

First Fridays is a dynamic monthly event that brings the community together to celebrate culture, wellness, and creativity. Each gathering features a different genre of music, free dance classes, live music provided by local Chicago artists, and a high-energy block party experience.
Park N Ride delivers a soulful blend of R&B, Soul, Pop, and Rock favorites, powered by some of Chicago’s finest musicians. Keema’s Kickin Crew brings high-energy line dancing and
that signature flair to keep the dance floor alive.

Chicago is hosting International Jazz Day’s 15th Anniversary Celebration, coinciding with the United States’ 250th Anniversary, making it a once-in-a-generation cultural milestone. The celebrations showcase Chicago’s legacy and leadership in the world of jazz — past, present, and future — while advancing the mission to elevate the music, support the artists, and connect communities through the power of jazz.
Celebrate International Jazz Day with a jazz showcase reflecting West Side heritage with the Marques Carroll Quintet, Chicago Jesuit Academy, and BandWith Chicago youth.
